Our Story

Thanks for visiting!  Our Owner/Operator Chad (Pictured Above) has always had a passion for creating, woodworking and helping people.

As a Teacher and Coach for more than 20 years, Husband and Father of 2, he knows that life is BUSY!  Taking time to sit down and catch up at the dinner table as a family should be a priority!

Operating out of Ham Lake, Minnesota, Great North Woodshop began in a small 3rd stall garage selling many different wood craft and furniture items.  This is where a passion and hobby grew into a home based business, now working out of a 940 square foot shop.  We are excited to narrow our focus and bring high quality dining options locally to you! 

We want to provide a place for your family to gather for generations.

Our goal is to provide High Quality Handcrafted items that last.  We stand by our products.  If something happens to your dining set that was caused on our end, we will make it right.
